4th of July Sandwich Day!

Hello my lovelies let me first say I am sorry I haven't posted in a while my project has literally consumed me! What project I am sure you're wondering since I have never mention it, I was inspired to try and make my own polishes! So I have been reading, researching, learning and experimenting since Feb/March, let me tell you its not easy! I can't tell you how many glitters I've tested and still testing to this day! So one of my creations I get to feature in this post! Oh and your probably wondering about the sandwich day huh well Polly Polish came up with the theme and its layering a Jelly Polish over glitters. I had a little problem I don't own any Jelly Polishes!!! So I took a crash course and made one for this post! HAH!!! :D

The 4th of July glitter polished used in the photos was given to a little girl that just found out she has type 1 diabetes, I hope it brightens her day a little after finding out such life changing news. My thoughts are with her.

This is pre-Jelly Sandwich 4th of July sparkly!

Its a Jelly Sandwich!

I don't know much about Jelly Sandwiches this is my first time attempting it, I think I should have only used one coat of the jelly polish I made, it came out darker than expected with two coats.

For this mani everything was created by me, the base is a color I made after using an OPI that I didn't like and could not find a replacement blue that I wanted to use.
The glitters I put together for 4th of July mani and the blue jelly I created as well.

I will be listing other lovelies that joined in on the fun shortly! Stay tuned~!! :D

I love that 4th of July glitter over the blue, so sparkly! The blue jelly on top obscures much of the glitter but I like how it still peaks through!

This has to be one of the brightest! So glad to see that people can still take part in this whilst incorporating other events xx
